This Privacy Policy explains how Branding House FZ-LLC (“AltPixel”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the AltPixel website and services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by Branding House FZ-LLC, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates at Meydan Grandstand, 6th Floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You can reach us at contact@brandinghousedubai.com.
2. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you sign in with a third-party provider (such as Google), the basic profile information that provider returns (name, email, avatar URL).
Uploaded images
When you convert an image or generate alt text, the file is processed by our servers and, for AI alt-text generation, sent to our AI provider (see “Subprocessors”). Images are processed transiently to produce your output and are not used to train any AI model.
Usage data
We store a per-user counter of how many AI alt-text generations you have made so we can enforce free-tier limits. This counter resets automatically 24 hours after your first use in a cycle. We may also collect standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps, request paths) for security and debugging.
3. How we use information
- To provide image conversion and AI alt-text generation.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To enforce fair-use limits and prevent abuse.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
- To improve reliability and performance of the Service.
4. Legal basis
Where the EU GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, we rely on: (a) performance of a contract when you use the Service; (b) our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Service; and (c) your consent where required (for example, optional cookies).
5. Subprocessors
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the Service. Each processes personal data only on our instructions.
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
- Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and network security.
- AI provider — used to generate alt-text descriptions from your uploaded images. Providers process images transiently and do not retain them for model training.
6. Data retention
Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Uploaded images are processed to produce your output and are not retained beyond what is needed to deliver it. Usage counters reset on a rolling 24-hour window. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostics.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Contact us at contact@brandinghousedubai.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
9. International transfers
The Service is operated from the United Arab Emirates and uses providers that may process data in the United States, the European Union, and other regions. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Security
We use industry-standard measures including TLS in transit, encryption at rest with our hosting providers, and role-based access controls. No system is 100% secure, and you use the Service at your own risk.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
